RMSSN Summer Academy: The Rocky Mountain Sustainability and Science Network Summer Academy is a one-week program providing intensive leadership training on global sustainability to undergraduate students. The Academy exposes students to researchers and dsc_0913
faculty working on issues related to science, sustainability and leadership in the beautiful settings of Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. In addition, students will learn about environmental and cultural sustainability in the field while learning about science and inquiry. See the “RMSSN Summer Academy” section for details on applying.

BioBlitz: Thanks in part to RMSSN’s JT Reynolds, Kriston Barnes, and Gillian Bowser, the National Park Service funded 10 RMSSN Summer Academy alumni to attend the 2014 National Geographic BioBlitz at the Golden Gate National Recreation Area in San Francisco and the  2015 National Geographic BioBlitz at Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park. Check out more under our “Bioblitz” section.
